Young Architect Position Description

 

MAP is looking for talented and experienced "Young Architects" to work in its Mersin Office. .


Responsibilities

 

  • - Produce architectural design ideas and schemes,
    - Contribute to the development of a project under the guidance of the Project Group Leader,
    - Fulfill the duties and responsibilities assigned by the Project Group Leader regarding the project,
    - Working in a project team that actively contributes with constructive critical ideas, 
    - Efficiently planning project-related assignments and requests to meet deadlines, with regular interaction and guidance from the Project Leader,
    - Preparation of project model and related 2D and 3D drawings,
    - Preparation of graphics, texts and visuals including site conditions, physical conditions of the site, functional requirements, sustainability issues, historical, social and cultural layers of the site, 
    - Preparation of presentation files,
    - Conducting intellectual research on the context of the projects,
    - Preparation of the material toolbox.


Minimum Qualifications

 

  • - A related professional degree in architecture,
    - Strong design, 2D and 3D modeling skills,
    - Professional knowledge of at least one of the 3D programs (MAX, Revit, ArchiCad, Rhino),
    - High-level proficiency in Autocad, Adobe Photoshop,
    - Professional level of rendering programs,
    - Good verbal and written communication skills in English,
    - Artistic talent, professional skills and enthusiasm for architectural representation,
    - High level of graphical understanding and analytical thinking, 
    - Innovative, problem solver, careful,
    - High level of precision in tasks,
    - Working with minimal supervision, acting well individually and in teams, sharing information and supporting colleagues,
    - Strong time management, good prioritization, team player, 
    - Enthusiastic, active, self-motivated, effective and flexible under pressure, 
    - No travel restrictions.
